FAQ, Ordering, Returns and Shipping Policies
For items that are in stock, we make every attempt to ship orders within 1-2 business days of order placement. For out of stock & made-to-order items, we usually ship within 1-2 weeks. For these items there is usually information on the product page indicating when the item will be ready to ship or pick up. If you have any questions about when your order will ship, feel free to contact us.
Most items ship via UPS, which normally takes up to 5 business days within the continental US. Smaller items typically ship via USPS Priority mail, which normally takes 2-4 days. Please choose your shipping method with those transit times in mind to make sure you get your package when you need it. UPS packages must be sent to a street address. To make shipping costs reasonable for our friends in Alaska and Hawaii, we ship via USPS Priority Mail to those two states. If you cannot receive packages at a street address and need your package shipped to a PO/APO box, we will ship USPS. Please note that expedited shipping is not available for these packages, so when checking out only choose Ground Shipping.
International Shipments are shipped by USPS Express Mail only. Express mail price does not include Duty, Customs Adjustments or VAT. In some cases, importing countries will charge fees, tariffs and taxes, and will require that you pay them before you can receive your items. Queen Bee takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for these charges, or for the amount charged. If you would like an estimate of the amount that *may* be charged, contact the customs department in your country.
- The cost for shipping to Canada is $30.00
- The cost for shipping to all other countries is $45.00
We do not offer cash back or refunds on non-defective items, however we are happy to accept exchanges. Please review our terms for exchanges:
- Exchanges are only available for full price items.
- Markdowns, seconds, prototypes and sale items cannot be exchanged.
- Exchanges must be made within 15 days of purchase.
- Products must be unused and have original tags attached.
- We reserve the right to determine if an item is in original condition.
- In the event you do not find a suitable exchange item at this time, store credit is available. Store credit is good indefinitely and can be used in-store or online.

On a case-by-case basis we are able to accommodate some custom requests - usually this involves a color combination that we don’t currently offer, or an applique or stitch design from a past collection. Custom items of this type involve a 30% fee. We don’t typically reproduce bags or items that we have discontinued. If you are in need of a custom creation in multiples, we do sometimes take on custom projects for clients if it is a good match for our design aesthetic & skill set. To inquire about any of the above, please contact us.
If you find that your Queen Bee, Chickpea, or Rebecca Pearcy Textiles item needs a repair due to *normal use of the item, we are happy to take care of it free of charge within 1 year of purchase. If you need a repair after the first year, feel free to contact us to see if the problem is something we can help with. If we are able to do the repair we will charge a reasonable fee for the service. If we are unable to do the repair ourselves, we'll gladly refer you to a shop in town that can help you. If you are outside of the Portland, Oregon area, we'll do our best to point you in the right direction to somewhere local to you. Shipping to & from Queen Bee to be paid by the customer.
*Sorry, but we cannot cover the cost of a repair due to circumstances outside of our control: damage from pets, etc.
