Summer is drawing to an end and we have released our Fall/Winter collection!
This is a very exciting time here at Queen Bee Creations & Chickpea Baby. We have spent the better part of the last four years researching and prototyping materials that would allow us to reach a long term vision. Rebecca has long sought to make our products out of materials that fall in line with the sustainable lifestyle she believes in. Finally her hard work and willingness to evolve is making the step from design room to you! As of Sept. 1. 2009, our line is constructed entirely of PVC-free materials – same Queen Bee level of quality and design but a new page in our history as a business.
For years now many of you have asked that we “please, please add some pockets to the Truckette and Trucker bags”. We are pleased to announce that with the launch of the new materials both of these items feature internal and external pockets with a water-resistant nylon lining. The vinyl exterior has been replaced with the supple and durable PVC-free ‘fleather’ that we currently use for many other items in our line.
Yes indeed, it is an exciting time and as always we want to thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support in the journey and evolution of Queen Bee. We could not do this without you and feel fortunate that so many folks see value in supporting small, handcrafted businesses producing goods in the U.S.
