Rebecca's Gift Picks
by Rebecca Pearcy on 21 December, 2015
It is hard to narrow my gift picks down to just a few items when our shop is chock full of wonderful handcrafted delights. Clockwise starting from top left:
- Nikki McClure 2016 Calendar: this is one of my easy-peasy, no brainer, go-to holiday gifts. Nikki's beautiful paper cut art inspires us each month with a different image, theme, and feeling. I especially love the very Northwest spirit of the images, as Olympia, WA and Portland have been my home for the past 24 years. I like to send this to old friends who used to live here but now are elsewhere. $20
- Moo Young skinny bangles: these are new to the shop and proving to be quite popular. Handcrafted in Seattle, these chic bangles come in a set of 7 and have either a silver or gold metal accent and a fun variety of leather colors. Easy to wear, comfortable and quiet, these would make a a great gift to the style maven in your life. $38 per set.
- Bang Bang Crafts ceramic creatures & vessels: These delightful creations are totally irresistible and each one-of-a-kind. Made by Korin Noelle in Portland, we have little planters that could double as a vessel for q-tips in the bathroom or holder for jewelry or matches. We also have bigger planters, stash jars with corks and the cutest pincushions. Aside from their absolute charm, I love that these have multiple uses and whomever receives one can decide what to use it for. Prices vary from about $24 and up. You can learn more about Korin & see more samples of her work here.
- Queen Bee waxed canvas handlebar bag: I designed this bag a few months ago after going on a date with my husband on bike and wishing I had a purse that could easily go from being attached to my bike, to being carried off the bike. Something to tote the essentials for an outing on bike: wallet, keys, phone, etc. And because it's made with waxed canvas, you don't have to worry if you get caught in an unexpected rain shower. Available in 4 different colors - see the selection here. $84 each.
Many of the items in our shop are not on our website. If you'd like to purchase something you see here, give us a ring and we'd be happy to take your order over the phone: 503.232.1755.
