Truckettes: The Inside Scoop

by Lauren Steinhardt on 10 July, 2015

Did you ever wonder how your Truckettes get made? Well, we're here to tell you that there's a lot of love and care that goes into each and every Queen Bee bag! First, we use a die cutting service to cut out the basic pattern shape of each bag. This process is ideal for high volume manufacturing because it is quick and accurate. We increase our overall fabric yield by using some of the scraps from this process for our smaller products like coin purses and cases.

Then, we assemble the body of the bag with external pockets and corner reinforcements.

During this process, our production team (which is really just Eleanor!) is busy cutting and prepping the Truckette flaps with design details to be stitched down.

Finally, all the parts will be assembled into the bag you know and love. Hey, nobody said it was easy!
